Tank Blanketing regulator

The tank blanketing systems are used to regulate the inlet pressure of nitrogen to the tank in inerted tanks with nitrogen (N2). They are used to:

  • Avoid tank corrosion or stored fluid degradation with entrance of air (humidity, polluted components, etc)
  • Reduce the inflammable properties of the stored product by dilution of the oxygen by nitrogen.
  • Protect the environment when gases of the tank are rejected outside.
  • Prevent a tank buckling or even a tank collapse in case of vacuum inside the tank.
